It’s 2015 and the days are long gone where your business could get away with a static 5 page website for your internet marketing strategy. It’s a fact that Google will give your more weight on your website when you regularly add new and unique content to your website.
You can add new website as pages to your website, but the easiest way that I have found to do this is by adding a blog to your website. Every time that you publish a new blog post it is seen as a new website page which adds to the dynamic-ness of the content on your website. How do you write content on your website so that it’s SEO optimised?
SEO optimised content
- Focus: Your website content should always be focused around a specific topic. Don’t create content just for the sake of content and so that Google can see you are publishing content. If no one reads your content it’s pretty pointless. Focus on providing value with your content.
- Entertain: Write content to entertain and engage with your readers. Use specific catchy keywords your readers can relate to in the headings and subheadings of your content. Also, using specific keywords in the headings and sub headings will give SEO value to your content. Draw visitors in from the search engines and make it easy for your readers to understand your content.
- Sharing: Make your content as easily shareable as possible. The easiest way to do this is when you have a blog you can add many of the sharing plugins available to that you can simply plugin to your content.
- Measure: Always measure your content and which pages/posts are bringing in the most visitor traffic. Focus on publishing/producing more of these pages and posts. You will only know about this once you start measuring your content campaign.
